Smith & Nephew I.V. Prep Antiseptic Wipes - Are used for the preparation of the skin prior to venipuncture or injection. It provides a clear, one-step antiseptic for I.V. site preparation, as well as a film that may help reduce skin trauma associated with adhesive removal when dressings are changed. It contains 70% IPA. Each wipe is approximately 4.3 x 2.3 inches

Indications: Sterile antiseptic wipe. For preparation of the skin prior to a ventipuncture or injection. Contains 70% IPA.

Instructions
Step 1 - Cleanse the skin area.
Step 2 - Start at ventipuncture site and apply in a circular fashion using friction.
Step 3 - Allow to thoroughly air dry.
Step 4 - Repeat with new wipe as necessary to cover sufficient area.

Warnings: Flammable Keep Away From Fire or Flame. Do not use with electrocautery procedures. For external use only. Do not use in or near the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation or redness develop. If condition persists for more than 72 hours, consult a physician.
